“ I went there with some friends. The food was delicious and service amazing. I ordered a gluten free burger which came with a very tasty gluten free bun, chips and coleslaw. It was absolutely delicious. There was so much on the menu to choose from and they also had a gluten/vegan chocolate orange sandwich pie. It was so good I took a bit home with me. The food came out within 20 min even though we went in right as they opened. This restaurant is obviously a well run establishment that makes sure that all their kitchen appliances are up and running for service including their gluten free fryer and foods served as described. I can't recommend this place enough. My friends also really enjoyed their meal. ”
“ Had the best cauliflower wings it was a starter but big enough for my main lunch plus chips! So tasty! Gorgeous setting looking out onto tobermory bay ”
“ Very nice food, great range of seafood in the platter, very much enjoyed. Rib eye steak great and delicious starter of seafood chowder. Excellent service, friendly staff and couldn't fault the harbour view from the window. Definitely recommend. Don't agree with dogs in restaurants though. ”
“ Excellent, had went hoping for sunday roast having seen photos but that wasn't available. However the Langostine and Praen pasta was fantastic. ”
“ Harbour view from the balcony to the famous colorful house line. Great food and Service. Oysters are amazing. ”
“ Fresh caught scottish local sea food. Well cooked and well presented. Great views of Tobermory bay from the restaurant and out door areas. ”
“ We came back from a tour to the Islands and were fortunate enough to get a great seat looking out over the sea. The staff were lovely - so kind and attentive, and the food was superb! Best seafood I can remember ever eating (ans as a North-Norwegian I'm picky about seafood). Would absolutely recommend. ”
“ We enjoyed a delicious dinner and drinks after a long day island tour. The friendly staff were accommodating for special drink orders, and information about their town. Stroll around the water with boats docking. Beautiful town with a variety of shops. Bus stop to the CalMac Ferry is in the parking lot. Coincidentally: The day before our island tour we met a couple waiting at the ferry in Oban. They offered a nice welcome to the area and information about seeing the puffin on the islands. We were greeted with a very warm welcome when the owners recognized us the next day as we walked in at MacGochans‘s for dinner. Thank you for great hospitality. ”
